Is taking some heat for their record this year, but most of the finger-pointing has been at their OC Keith Heckendorf.
Heckendorf was a carry over from Blake Anderson's staff and not a popular one at that. Many were calling for his head before Blake left.
In his defense, Heckendorf was not Butch Jones' top choice and he had others "hired" before they jumped ship.
Might be pressure for Butch to make some staff changes and Heckendorf appears to be at the top of the list, again.

RE: Butch Jones
They are going after Butch and their OC really hard on their largest message board, but a close look at their record, how young they were, how close to being a seven win team, and how well recruiting is going it is probably better not to make major changes.
Of course everyone is watching the Portal, which could change everything.
While across the state there are concerns that the Razorbacks could lose up to 30 players to the portal- their HC has already warned everyone it could be bad, so far there has not been any indications they are expecting of mass defections at A-State, yet. Because of the caliber of the young talent on their roster, that is another incentive not to rock the boat to much.

All this said, had they not lost junior OT Robert Holmes late against Memphis and like last year resulting the OL struggling following his loss, they are almost certainly a seven win team despite all their youth/coaching/injury issues.
That is a season coming down to the availability of one player, which the Portal could have prevented, and hopefully will not be the case next year.
