While Most On The Den Say the OL Got them Beat
It was actually their WR group.

The OL was young and the loss of Robert Holmes again threw them into a scrambling mode for most of the season, but they played well enough to have won 3-4 more games, if the WRs had performed.

They simply could not be counted on to make the plays that needed to be made to win in the offense with James Blackman as their QB.

They needed a couple of consistent play makers to emerge from of touted group of Te'Vailance Hunt, Jefferson Foreman and Khyheem Waleed, to help undersized, but game, SR Champ Flemimg, and it did not happen.

Only freshman Daverrick Jenkins showed signs of stepping up, and it was too little too late.

Jones son Adam , former walk-on WR Reagan Ealy, and rFR Omar Walker have the intangibles, but lack the tangibles needed to be effective at this level at this point.

Only Hunt is a senior, they get former QB Wyatt Begeal back from injury, and they have several freshmen commits at the position, but this is still a position of concern for 2023.
