Just a really sad, tragic story within the world of college athletics (and society today in general I guess).

Yup, thought the same thing. That had New Mexico connections as well (Patrick Dennehy was a transfer from New Mexico to Baylor).

And Bliss was HC at New Mexico before he was at Baylor.

FBO, were you on the trip to the New Mexico tournament in Willis's second year as head coach? Reason I ask is Bliss was at New Mexico then, and we were invited to some kind of pre-tournament social gathering. Anyway, Ms. Bliss was there in an outfit that Katarina Witt would not have been caught dead in.

No, I've never been to any game in that state. Cuz is and was all about the Land of Enchantment (and is a NMSU alum, although he can't be too happy about this latest story).

It was probably Cuz, then, with whom I had the conversation about Ms. Bliss. I think my question to him was why was a stripper invited to an alumni supporter reception, and being the NM expert, he informed me that was no stripper, it was Bliss's wife. It was some kind of silver lame outfit that didn't cover a whole lot of her body. I was frankly amazed that a coach's wife would wear something like that to a function attended by heavy hitter alumni.
