FWIW, our players don’t have passports ready, so I’d say Bahamas Bowl would be unlikely.

How does that work? The game is in less than a month, so do they just take teams that already have passports ready?

Toledo turned their passports around in two weeks last year, so it is doable, but definitely stressful. Will be interesting to see how the league handles the Bahamas Bowl. They like to rotate it. MTSU went last year so doesn’t seem like they would be sent there again. FIU, Rice and UTEP have uphill battles to get eligible this week, maybe even more so than UAB.

FAU has never been to Bahamas — maybe they get sent there if they win vs WKU?

If you are referring to the previous Bahamas Bowl, that was Ohio U who gave us such a beatdown.

I think there’s some early clues that you might go to that bowl. If I’m not mistaken, we found out midway through the season that it was a very good possibility we would be selected if bowl eligible. At that point, we started getting players’ passports in order, and still had a couple that had passport problems who didn’t make the trip.

You're right. Thats what I get for not paying attention.
Then (if we go) let's pretend it's a rematch and beat them down like they're Ohio U

From the teams listed above, I hope we don't get Memphis or Troy in a bowl game. Troy is about to be in the Sun Belt Championship if they win this weekend. I'd rather not play a hot 10-3 or 11-2 Troy team this year. And we will be playing Memphis every year starting next year, so no need to play them this year.
I wouldn't mind playing rematch against App State or Louisiana, or give Marshall another beat down.

I do not want to play a rival. Our fans aren’t going to travel. Theirs will.

Normally I'd want the Birmingham Bowl but with how this season has gone, fan turnout for us would be abysmal.

Send us to Hawaii if the Bahamas logistics don’t work.
