Tether - Is This FTX on Steroids?
Quote:The story you’re about to hear concerns the third-largest crypto-currency on the planet, which you’ve probably never heard of. It is a story of how a former Disney child-actor — a Jeffrey Epstein associate who was embroiled in an under-age sex scandal — bizarrely emerged as one of the world’s strangest crypto-currency moguls. It is the story that raises serious questions as to whether an entire cryptocurrency is a scam — effectively a private money-printer. And to top it all off, there is reason to believe that if this cryptocurrency is the scam that it appears to be, it will nonetheless be allowed to continue because of this particular cryptocurrency’s usefulness to intelligence agencies in funneling money to foreign rebel groups and jihadis with plausible deniability.

Oh, there is this little tidbit out there, too.

A legit crypto currency is a huge threat to the central banks control of money, so articles like this are designed to make people lose total confidence in crypto currency so that the general populous will be for a government regulated CBDC.

I’m not a crypto currency expert, but the experts I do listen to say that privacy coins like Monero and Pirate Chain are the best ones because it allows you to make untraceable transactions. Beware of so-called “stable coins”.

I do have some crypto including the two I mentioned. I’m not an expert trader, I’m holding (or HODLing) in the hopes that I’ll make money on these investments and give me an alternative way of transacting in case the dollar collapses.

Can’t go wrong bartering, just make sure you have sensible items to barter with.

There is a Youtube channel called 'Coffeezilla' I watch regularly. Specializes in online and crypto 'stuff in the weeds'. He has a number of 20 - 30 min episodes on Tether, going back a year and a half:

This guy (and two or three others) are really worth watching. Based on some of his reporting, I shorted Terra and Luna a while back, and made out like a bandit. I have been short Tether for about a year. This setup has equal governance and controls as FTX, which we are learning had literally zero of.

It is going to crash. I dont see how it isnt a scam. And when it does Bitcoin will plunge another 30%.
