Me too. I figure LaTech will be motivated to give us a losing season. Hopefully, LTU’s quarterback is not a threat running. Our defensive scheme doesn’t seem to be able to contain one.

I want to win the next game because it's the next game. However, finishing 6-6, and .500 in conference USA is not deserving of a bowl. Well I guess it is nowadays when we have so many of the useless ones. The only thing a 3rd tier bowl gives us is extra practices. Not sure that helps us with this coaching staff.

Can we play teams that's not $EC, especially when they are heating up to be national champions (Georgia,LSU)

How about a PAC-12 team or a ACC team

Btw we played an average acc team 2 years ago...same results.

Know what a useless bowl game is? A football game on national TV.
Know when a group of guys deserve something? When they’ve earned it on the field…they don’t need your blessing.

Those guys have put blood & sweat into something for months and they get to do something they really enjoy with their best friends one more time and they get swag, good food, and neat events in a city they may never have visited. Do you wanna address the team like a certain orange-headed guy and tell them they aren’t going because they really don’t deserve it?

Think it’s just the coaching staff that should be “punished” by staying at home? Well, they would get to spend more uninterrupted quality time with their families that they’ve missed for months now…with a fewer number of guys watching TV on their couches and trashing them on the internet. Yeah, they knew what they signed up for…wanna tell them to their face that they haven’t earned the right to wear UAB gear and spend time with the players they’ve watched grow & persevere because you have determined that they haven’t done their jobs? Knock yourself out.

We are always going to unable to hang with these teams. I just hope we go play whoever pays the most.
