Been competing as that for decades. We are on the exact same trajectory that Cincinnati is on, only we are about 7 or 8 years behind them in taking football seriously.

We have never had to compete with the situation we have now. Transfers don’t have to sit out and can be purchased for a price.

Cincinnati is a much wealthier school than Memphis. They have a medical…their endowment dwarfs ours. We are no longer on the same trajectory as UC. The invested & they have made it. We’re on the outside looking in.

I definitely agree about Cincinnati's wealth in comparison. With Memphis there has arguably been only ten years of real, consistent effort in football. I just hope all those that have been helping the program get to this point don't give up. Ten years is a relatively short time, yet Memphis still at least gets looked at for realignment in that time frame.
