Wow. +1000. Take December off, I've talked to your boss. You've earned it.

How about you use google and come up with a list and as to your "some even straight to HC," do you mean like the legendary Gerry Faust at Notre Dame, who then washed out at Akron. Or maybe you mean Bob Cummings at Iowa.
As much as the game has changed in terms of recruiting, scheduling, the portal, etc., try to limit your google search to the last seven or eight years.
Regardless of what you, I, or anyone else thinks of Hammock, the only important person in this equation is STF. Since you believe you have such a strong grasp on collegiate football, how about you tell us what connections STF has in order to find a replacement. Keep in mind that a majority on this board (myself included) wanted Hot Rod gone, maybe we should all be careful what we wish for.

Where did I say fire hammock. Again, you are moving the goal posts and acting insane.

Hammock needs a new staff. His hands are tied as he has very few connections to any coaches. An option is always high school head coaches.

That is my statement. You are losing your mind.

Hammock sucks. I was a huge hammock fan but he screwed up. He’s the coach, but his program is in shambles. To go from champs to worst is a near impossible task when you have what, 20 starters or so coming back on the roster?

So yes, Hammock is to blame. He has a bad staff. Likely doesn’t have the connections to make it better. But highly doubt he gets fired, he is owed too much and is owed another season or more . He did win a title. We are stuck with him.

He needs to fix his staff.

So next time you want to write a nonsense reply and create a fake argument read the above post. Or learn google.

Hammock is pretty loyal to his staff. My biggest concern this off season is that the staff remains intact as is.

A head coach should be loyal to his staff otherwise he is not creating an environment to be successful. But a successful coach also should hold his coaches accountable.

We'll see how that plays out. But being loyal to your coaches is not a negative.

If that's the case, then he NEEDS to go. I don't see a way that STF lets things stay as they are, he didn't renew our successful volleyball coach, who's had a few bad years. At the very least, the entire defensive staff need to go. They aren't developing talent, they couldn't stop anyone most of the year and didn't do much right. I'd go so far as to say we need a new OC, since we had a lot of schemes and a predictable offense that teams just knew what we were doing. I get the injuries, but we didn't even try to mix it up.

How come you're not a Division I head football coach if you know so much about assembling a staff and connections?
Talk about moving the goal posts....you go from "Where did I say fire Hammock" to "Hammock sucks. Hammock is to blame."
Please share your resume and qualifications to determine "his program is in shambles."
If there is something harder to do than "To go from champs to worst is a near impossible task when you have what, 20 starters or so coming back on the roster?" it would be to go from being winless to champion. Go ahead an ignore the reality that injuries decreased the "20 starters or so" and in particular if you start ranking those starters.
Can't help but notice that you switched from he has no connections to "likely doesn’t have the connections to make it better."
As to "learn google" you're the one who suggested using it to back up the number of high school coaches who have become DI coordinators so all I asked was for you to produce examples to back up your statement.
Perhaps you need to go back and re-read all the posts and see which qualifies as more of a "nonsense reply" versus having a dissenting opinion and asking you to prove your point.

Not at all saying that loyalty is negative, but fearful it may hold him back from making the changes everyone can see are needed. If not, then they can all go down on the ship together.

I think there is no way derrick jackson can stay unless his contract is too long and to much $$ to let go. He has been here from the start and the defense has only got worse.

Saying “buh-bye” to Jackson has to be happening right?

The “merry go round” has begun. No reason to wait. I think we’ll hear something within 48 hours.
