Early 80's had high points for several Men's programs including Baseball (College World Series), Basketball (several 2 deep runs in 32 team fields), Football (Playoffs, beating UVA, and Astroturf). I am pretty sure the recruiting pitch had something to do with a 3 to 1 ratio of girls.

I don't think Hubert Davis will underestimate us, especially after 3 consecutive lackluster outings. That said, the above bolded statements are the mindset of the average Tarheel fan.

That's how their elite-our-sh!t-don't-stink mindset is about anyone who doesn't wear baby blue.

It wasn’t gradual. It was a precipitous decline after firing Lefty.
