Good point A-Zip ... at the same time I think Kent has done a generally good job recruiting Chicago and Detroit. I think we need to keep working the recruiting fires there as well ... not to mention the juco ranks that have also filled in some gaps nicely over the years.

Funny, my wife and I were joking about him all broadcast. My guess is that he smokes Camels.

David Wilson was on the call with wingman Frank Kurtz. Frank was an honorary member of the broadcast team yesterday. Longtime Flash fan. Most of us who regularly attend games would certainly recognize his face. Not sure I had ever heard him speak prior to the ride home yesterday.

Go Flashes!

Maybe it was just me but JC looked like he aged more than he should have. Just wasn’t moving very well (hip/knee??).

Go Flashes!

Frank is a long time Flash fan alright. I was in Kent in 1991 and he was already entwined in the KSU fabric. He always had aspirations to be an announcer/broadcaster but had some type of surgery that made him sound like he does. Actually now that I know who that was, I feel like a schmuck saying he sounded like he smoked a bunch. Good for Frank!

JC was an assistant for only 1 year at Kent and we know how that turned out. Lets hope for a repeat.

Interesting article on Ohio.com today. It was the story on Wednesdays game and it congratulated the Zips for winning. It was in the headline of the article. Now there’s a mistake for you.

Might be but he looked like he was hurting a bit.
