The Lady Dukes take their second road trip of the new season with a 7PM tipoff against the Lancers at Longwood University. According to the Longwood schedule the game will be televised ob ESPN+. DO not know how many Dukes fans will be making the trip down to Longwood but the wife and I will be there ROOTIN!! Hopefully we can have a fair turnout of Purple and Gold.

Dukes up 32-17 with just over three minutes left in the first half. Sloppy game by both teams - JMU has wayyyy too many fouls so far in the game. I hope that will not hurt them at the end of the game.

If you look at the Live Stats, Longwood is playing Ohio. Player names are correct but the school name is not. How hard is it to update the Live Stats page after every game???

Kiki has 12, Toure and Hazell have six each.

Bailey Williams at Longwood started her career at JMU and transferred after her first year. Nice to see her again.

Don’t know what the problem is with the updating the scores on TV, but whoever is responsible is quick to post the Longwood scores, but lags on posting the JMU scores.

The refs are just horrible, and the Longwood announcers are annoying.

TV announcer shared this game is about the 20th time JMU has played Longwood, and the first game in Farmville in about 10 years.

Honestly, JMU should never play on the road against Longwood. Never.

Dukes up 68-39 after three quarters. Kiki keeps her 20+ point game streak alive. Peyton has had a fabulous game and has 16 points. Should be an easy win for JMU.

Damn Longwood player just injured the JMU PG.

Germond is hurt....she had to be helped off the court. Hope she is okay.

Looks like they are working on Germond's right ankle on the bench....

You could clearly see it roll forward and then over to the outside on the replay… we’ve all done it, and it hurts like mad and takes a while to heal too.

She was withering/screaming/crying on the court before being helped off. The Longwood player should have been called for a flagrant for smashing into Germond. I blame the refs for letting the Longwood players get away with too much physical crap.

Dukes smash Longwood 82-55. Fantastic rebounding game for JMU - they outrebounded Longwood 57-19. Kiki had 22, Peyton had 18 and Jamia had 10. I hope Caroline is okay....

Next game is Sunday at home against UNC. Should be a good game and good test for the Dukes. Hope to see a lot of folks at the game.

Tonight was the first I’ve gotten to see Kone play…she is silky smooth, I really like her game!

Also impressed by Rowe tonight - those two freshmen could be really good for us. Also good to see Peyton finally look more like Peyton. Gonna need her and Clare to be on for us to have a shot against UNC.

Really weird game. Way too many weird and stupid fouls by this ref crew. Only good thing is all the benchplayers got a fairly decent number of minuted due to the starters getting into"foul trouble" early on. Really liking what Rowe and Toure cando and Sterling looks like she can develop into a nice PG.

Horrible game by the ref crew totally messed things up. Worst call was the collision that injured Caroline and she got called for the foul. Just plain weird.

Nice crowd for the game but only about a dozen or so Dukes fans but we ROOTED!!

It was the most outrageous call by the refs in tonight’s game. Weird? Yes, that’s one way to describe that call, and their general behavior. Incompetent, and biased would be other descriptors. 56 fouls called tonight, 29 on the Dukes. Many of those fouls were total mysteries.

We should never play Longwood again. We should especially never play Longwood in Farmville again.

It's an early-season warmup, I get it, but no rewards here, other than injuries.
