Unfortunately, we lost our best player and shooter prior to the season starting.

If anyone plays Jacksonville, they have a good team. They slow the game down and ugly it up like Mike Davis used to do and UNT. They have descent size and a pretty good guard that transferred in.

We get USA Sunday. Another old Sun Belt rival. I have much respect for their coach.

We lead the entire game and lose it at the end. If we shot decent at three or shoot 70% from free throw line we win. Frustrating...

Was this game in Olean? We used to HATE playing there. Refs were always extremely biased for the home team, and oh yeah, F$#k St. Bona.

Yes. I've seen worse refs. We cannot blame refs when we shoot so horridly. I did think we out-played them.

Glad to hear the refs were better at least. It's been 10 years, but that's a really tough place for a team to fly into then bus from the airport to.

I don't think our team has been home since prior to Turkey Day (after 3 games in Montreal).

I thought other than the shooting we played well. We out-athleted them for sure.

Pretty much every team in CBB would have gotten “waxed” in those first 8 minutes the way Apple State shot.

Nice job by our guys not to give up. This team is definitely a little tougher than years past.

App lead 30-7 midway through the 1st half. Charlotte then went on a 42-14 run. The teams traded a few baskets,then Charlotte went on 10-0 run. Overall, after the 30-7 deficit, Charlotte outscored App 64-31 the rest of the way.

Rice is 5-0 at home. 0-2 on the road (outscored by an average of 37 points in the two games - and it's not like we were playing top 5 teams like we will a week from Monday at Texas). In other words, don't expect much from Rice today.
