The MTSU loss to St. Bon really stings. C-USA and A-10 are neck and neck in the robot rankings right now. Would like to put them in the rear view mirror so that we stand a better chance of multiple post season bids (both NCAA and NIT).

Had the game won if we could have just hit free throws (8-of-18). Lost the lead with under 3 minutes to play.
Also, horrendous 3-point shooting (2-of-18)
Unfortunately, we lost our best player and shooter prior to the season starting.

We lead the entire game and lose it at the end. If we shot decent at three or shoot 70% from free throw line we win. Frustrating...

Was this game in Olean? We used to HATE playing there. Refs were always extremely biased for the home team, and oh yeah, F$#k St. Bona.

Yes. I've seen worse refs. We cannot blame refs when we shoot so horridly. I did think we out-played them.

Glad to hear the refs were better at least. It's been 10 years, but that's a really tough place for a team to fly into then bus from the airport to.

I don't think our team has been home since prior to Turkey Day (after 3 games in Montreal).
I thought other than the shooting we played well. We out-athleted them for sure.

AppSt jumped out to a 30-7 lead, hitting a bunch of threes. Charlotte has outscored them 24-12 since and closed it to an 11 pt deficit at halftime. We really need Charlotte to pull this out for the conference. It'd be a real bad loss.

Charlotte holds AppSt to just 20 pts in 2nd half and win by 9.

Pretty much every team in CBB would have gotten “waxed” in those first 8 minutes the way Apple State shot.
Nice job by our guys not to give up. This team is definitely a little tougher than years past.

App lead 30-7 midway through the 1st half. Charlotte then went on a 42-14 run. The teams traded a few baskets, then Charlotte went on 10-0 run. Overall, after the 30-7 deficit, Charlotte outscored App 64-31 the rest of the way.

Tech 74 Southern 59
Usually it's no biggie to beat a SWACer, but they have been pulling off some impressive wins this year. So, don't overlook any team from that league.

Should FAU beat EMU today, we would have the best start ever in our Division 1 history. But, of course, we have to beat EMU, which the kitties down South could not do.

Rice is 5-0 at home. 0-2 on the road (outscored by an average of 37 points in the two games - and it's not like we were playing top 5 teams like we will a week from Monday at Texas). In other words, don't expect much from Rice today.
