they are just doing it at a training ground to troll Qatar (who bribed to take this WC away from us too). The crest on the game uniform will be as usual but people will read the headlines and I'm sure have reasonable takes.
I get it, but it makes us look very weak. Could have found a better way to troll. We have the 2026 World Cup for instance. Better troll would be to market and promote it at the Qatar event. Another better troll would be to perform on the field, make a deep run, and rub the American flag in their noses. I really don't care, but not seeing where promoting a subculture that they laugh at and that represents probably 0% of the team accomplishes anything. I guess you just can't escape politics anywhere now that big corporate is dug in.

It is what it is I guess. It ruined the Olympics, but there won't be remotely as much media downtime here. Hopefully they just play the games, the commentary is about the games, and the global political pontificating is largely limited to CNN, FoxNews, and MSNBC.

What’s the hardest part about playing soccer?
Telling your parents you’re gay.

I think since FIFA did them a solid and gave them the 2026 rights without a bidding war (because FOX was mad they moved this to during football). I bet not a word is mentioned about the gays or them using slave labor to build the stadiums. Plus, I find the FOX analysis guys to be quite **** so I'll probably turn to the channel on XM radio.

RE: USA Men's Soccer Inclusive Logo
You're not allowed to criticize this b/c sports have always been political, but when you complain about Bubba Wallace or LeBron when they spew nonsense, you need to stop making sports political.
BTW, I generally cheer for the name on the front of the uniform & not the name on the back. I actually don't mind the NBA & have watched the NBA Finals numerous times when LeBron's in it, neither cheering for or against him. Also consider myself a Pistons fan & catch a few Pistons games a year. Despite the wokeness of the NBA, I don't mind it. NFL on the other hand is just a bad product in general, I find it boring as hell.

That logo will be used in the training facilities. I don’t see where they’ll be using it in matches.
Lets be honest one of soccer’s biggest demographics are the gay and lesbian communities. Personally I don’t have a problem with this. Especially if its being done to send a message to the Arabs.

When they spew nonsense, I just roll my eyes. I can separate the 2. Unsure if bubba is any good as I don't do nascar. I can appreciate Lebron's greatness and separate when he pretends he has read Malcolm X book.

Lots of soccer fans are limp wristed dooshbags so this doesn't surprise me a bit. Playing to the audience.

As far as I'm concerned they can keep this sport on the other side of our oceans. American football is where it's at.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for Lou City FC since the clubs founding I’m not sure where you are but here in Louisville the Gay and Lesbian Communities are among the largest of the Supporter Groups.
I would venture to guess in MLS cities this is common.

When we had a team here in JAX, biggest group was suburban families. But yes, soccer's fan base does lean left.
Just hope we do well, we have the youngest team in the tournament
