Don't know much. They are 2-0 beating Rockhurst 85-76 and Wm Jewell 77-62. Don't foul them as they are 28 of 32 from the free throw line. They shoot 24 for 60 from behind the three point line and have balanced scoring. If you want to see the Huskies in person and don't like to fly or drive go see this game. The next home game is 12/20 against Albany.

Good luck Huskies.

Oh I forgot it is at 7pm central and on ESPN+

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a real mismatch.

They are 2-0 versus the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

We are 0-1.

14:52 to play in 1st.

NWP - 5
NIU - 9

Too many turnovers already but Nutter is leading the way for the Huskies on both ends.

Ten turnovers in eleven and a half minutes……yikes.

7:17 to go in the 1st

PNW - 20
NIU - 21

Turnovers are absolutely KILLING us right now. We should be up 15 points right now. 11 turnovers are currently only killing our offensive possessions as PNW has only scored 6 points off those TOs. But this needs to be cleaned up in a hurry.

And Keshawn Williams looks off. Way off. 0-2 from the field with 3 turnovers.

RE: mbb hosting Purdue NW
Halftime

PNW - 31
NIU - 42

PNW added a couple of buckets late to cut the lead a little and got a sloppy putback at the buzzer.

Turnovers are the issue keeping this remotely close. Nothing else is favoring PNW. But when I made the comment about turnovers, NIU stopped turning it over and stretched the lead out to 16.

Leading scorers:

Nutter - 12
Williams - 9
Russell - 8
Coit - 6

We're outshooting them 58.6% to 40% and from behind the arc at 38.5% to 26.7%.

We're also out rebounding them 22 to 9 (6 to 2 ORB).

One other stat of note: Anthony Barnard - 4 points (2 of 7). He eclipsed 1,000 points with PNW in their last game. The kid can pour it in. Burno has had Crump on him all night and Barnard has struggled facing Crumps height and length.

Nutter has played well, minus all the silly turnovers he's committed.

Looking better thus far tonight. Looking a tier above their DII opponent anyway, refreshing.

So many dumb ones (not that any turnover is smart).

But the side hop before the 3 that keeps getting called a travel needs to be worked on.

Competition level is obviously quite low, but, this still has a better look than the first two games.

This is what the first game should have looked like and it shouldn't be overlooked that, in that game, we had no Amos or Nutter.

Btw, Hunter not playing tonight. And Plintauskas (and Niederhäuser) still apparently out. I feel like I'm missing someone.
