I think Louisville was pretty much a master class in how to do the music, video board, etc. UNC basketball was really well done too, they had some really neat little video effects added for big moments. Especially when they didn't like a call, even if some of them were used at times where it was absurd to complain about the call. Those athletic departments obviously have a good enough relationship with ours to schedule us, especially UNC, it'd be great if JMU could reach out to discuss gameday production with them.

Definitely agree I'd like to get a good fourth quarter pump up song that's fairly unique to us. Doesn't have to have any connection to JMU, if it sticks then it'll become connected to JMU. I still feel like going decently recent and probably hip hop is the best move for getting students fired up and will work for others too. Those kind of songs at Louisville definitely got plenty of white hair moving even if it's probably not what they're playing in their cars lol. Unfortunately not a ton of students for their test drive last week or if they want to try something out this week.

I left the Louisville game with a splitting headache! They played horrendously loud music after every play. Plus, they would play it after we broke our huddle on offense, which is a violation. They were called on it by the officials at one point. Give me more MRDs playing and less loudspeaker DJ crap.

That's actually another thing I was gonna say, I don't know if it's a matter of our speakers or just the volume they choose but our music doesn't seem very loud either. I also thought it was smart to push it until the refs made them stop, they aren't just gonna flag you without warning.
