If you watch Portnoy and Big Cat's videos from yesterday, the Toldeo kids really showed up and brought it. I hope we can do the same tonight

Makes the school look "cool and fun" which is very important when enrollment is down and you're trying to recruit more 18 year olds to your campus

Hulkamania brother. It's not what worked, but what works now. This appeals to the new crowd of emerging fans. I hope it goes great. This is a cool experience for our school, ESPN GameDay isn't coming any time in the near future...to any MAC school

He said this is the worst game to come to. But he isn't wrong. Two losing teams where the majority of the attendees in the audience weren't even planning on going to.

It was different at the beginning of the year when they planned this and we were contenders.

I liked when Portnoy said that over the last 20 years, NIU was the far superior program to Illinois.

Not a horrible show overall, kind of what you’d expect. Portnoy said he did pizza reviews at Lord Stan’s, Vinny’s (called it trash), and pizza pros. He also did give kudos to the huskies for being far superior over Illinois. Crowd was definitely smaller than Toledo but they did bring some good energy. Funny to see the crowd boo when one guy picked Vandy to beat Florida and no one on stage understood why the crowd hated Vandy. Most of them did pick huskies to win tonight. Disappointing it couldn’t have been next to the stadium. Bad look with tow trucks towing attendees who parked at the Culver’s next door. Most of the crowd cheered when they asked who’s not going to the game.

Big Cat put Jordan Lynch at the top of his best alumni of the MAC list. They aren’t wrong about it being a trash game but it was funny when they said it because it’s true. Kudos to Barstool for staying with it despite 2 bad teams. They also gave a shoutout to fried potato salad

We need to isolate that quote and make it a meme.

Pretty cool production, and good showing by the NIU students.

As much as I love it. Can't rest on our laurels. Bielema is developing a competitive team that they haven't seen since Zook.

They had praise for the MAC and the loud NIU fans that showed up, and said we were superior to Illness for decades. Great exposure for our school, Barstool at NIU is a nice "relevant" merit badge for us. Good stuff, too bad Hammock couldn't back it up with a win.

They did - mentioned it multiple times positively on the broadcast.
