You'll probably have one loss that point...zero chance you rest people and risk a second loss.. good try on an early excuse tho! :)
You all should be ranked.
No team that gets blown out by ODU…at home no less…deserves to be ranked.
As for the NY6 bowl, that’s TBD. If JMU’s #1 QB is healthy, and the Duke’s running game remains strong, CC is going to have its hands full come the last game of the regular season.
I like how the guy throwing out qualifiers is the one talking tough…
Noticed you didn’t put any out there for us. I’d say our QB1 is better than yours, and more important to our team. Or, if our starting LB and safeties could instantly heal…
We will try to give you a game nonetheless…
Lol.
Qualifiers? CC’s blow-out loss to ODU isn’t a “qualifier”…it’s an embarrassing fact.
We all know CC’s #1 all-world QB is out. Maybe, if CC fans get lucky, and McCall decides to risk playing in a bowl, you’ll get to see him play one more time as a teal chicken. In the meantime your point is irreverent. Todd Centeio is immeasurably better than a McCall who doesn’t play, or any of CC’s backups. That’s if TC plays, and he was dinged-up in the ODU game.
In other news, every team at this time of the season has some serious bumps and bruises, however, no player is more important to JMU than our starting QB, as ODU will attest. To repeat what I already wrote, if TC plays, CC will have its hands full when it plays JMU at season’s end.
CC playing in Harrisonburg as the last regular season game is also not a qualifier. It’s a simple fact. Playing on a road is tougher than playing at home, again a simple fact. Again, not predicting a JMU win…just that CC will have its hands full.
The season ending game against CC might be considered JMU’s “bowl” game, which might provide an extra incentive to JMU to play it’s best, but that would be an assumption and a qualifier. Also, a Thanksgiving week game, with JMU students gone from campus, might mean JMU and CC will play before a smaller, less vocal crowd. A smaller crowd might also negatively impact JMU’s energy, but that would also be a qualifier, and neither the “bowl” game or smaller crowd angle are issues that I’m concerned about. It’s the health and availability of JMU’s top QB, and JMU’s ability to run the ball.
