Didn’t see a game thread. About to start 2nd half. Pretty good game so far. ULM got down again in the 1st quarter 14-3 (haven’t led in the 1st all year) and have rallied back to within 21-20 at the half. We stuck in the 1st and 4th quarters especially. Hope we don’t have a 3rd quarter letdown this week.

Now 28-20 GSU. I'd say the score is a pretty solid representation of the matchup. We've looked just a little bit stronger in most phases but have had some missteps to keep things a lot closer than I'd like. I'm afraid someone like Howell is going to just break away at some point and even things up with a huge play or two.

I agree with your assessment. Howell is a beast and can break one at any time.

Wow, what a win! We have not led in the 1st Qtr in one game yet. If we could just start stronger we would have a lot better record and maybe not give me a heart attack every game. Good game Georgia St. That is our first road win in the Bowden era.

What’s crazy is ULM still has a mathematical chance at winning the West. Lol. Mathematical as in calculus, but still. At least we have matched last years win total and still have a possibility of bowl eligibility, however we would have to beat Troy and USM. I like still having something to play for at least.

Our last 3 games (CCU, USA, ULM) to get to 6 are tough

Seriously, what a letdown. Two weeks ago, we weren't even in the discussion of Belt teams going bowling. Last week, it seemed like we had turned the corner. Now, not so much.

And with that, Coastal has officially locked up the East to play in the SBC Championship.
