He won't take out DeSantis if he challenges for the nomination...and in 2 years we have no idea the status of Joe Biden in regard to fitness to run again. I'd give him less than even odds now on it.

Conservative Inc is doing the same schit they did in 2016. They are damaging DeSantis long term for a couple of immediate and irrelevant news cycles. DeSantis might have an edge now, but no way he holds it throughout. They just can't help themselves... we are darn near 18 months from Super Tuesday, we are going to end up with Trump v Biden again, and Biden is going to get a 2nd term. All because the DC consulting class can't figure out all this clearly coordinated astroturfing, fake news, and fake takes only strengthen Trump's base, raise questions, and validate conspiracy theories. Makes me sad, just shut up and let the voters decide.

Personally, I think we need to move on from Trump. While he will get my vote if he wins, I don't think he can win the general. Not unless things get a whole lot worse. Biden can just hide in the basement and avoid the public again.

Can't explain Claw, who seems like someone who does care about what is ultimately best for our nation but has not (yet) shaken free from the Trump stupor.

I do think that I understand swag, however. That is pants-wetting fear of Ron DeSantis as the Republican nominee that is driving his posts.
