RE: New Baseline Lounge
Couple of things that struck me while watching the first edition of the lounge:

- We loose the crowd for the second half visitors shooting and free-throws...no band, no students, not as much Blue Crew impact
- No impact from the students when we are in a close game during their time-outs, crowd noise
- It changes the shooting background for the players for both game and free throws
- Looks like a thrown together operation
- We need more family friendly options; I don't see this as setting us apart positively in our game day atmosphere
- Counted 30 folks at the most; know it is a first but 30 people; view has got to be less than ideal
- Wouldn't be surprised if the MAC has a say in the Baseline Lounge

So a bouncy house then? LOL

What I could envision in the future is a spot built off the concourse at the top of the seating. Idea is a potential revenue stream. All things must be explored.

Really looked stupid. Might be OK for an outside sport.

So not a no-go or a needs-work? Early season game, the men playing on another channel. That noise might not have been there regardless, IDK.

Certainly seemed like a few posters were rather vested in this idea, becoming quite beligerant at any mention of opposition. Might be rowing against the paid-posters on this one R51.

I doubt they did this without Coach Cullop's approval. I suspect it's here to stay unless something truly bad does happen. Then all the decision makers will talk how it was unpredicatble.... mixing alcholol with that kind of proximity to the court, smh.

Works or doesn't, I'm still camping in the, they can do that somewhere else and still watch the game.

Hard to analyze it when they men there playing at the same time. Small sample size but I would have been down there if that wasn’t the case. I only see them doing this on games they know will not be packed. I would bet the house they don’t do it next weekend, and not because it was a fail yesterday.
