Grinder set herself up for capture and detainment. Ignorance of another country's law is no excuse. She's married to a lawyer (yet another reason)! She plead guilty. Is the sentence political? Absolutely! We still have people in prison (long term) for small amounts of weed, depending on jurisdiction.
