Someone said they were both injured. I am hoping that's true and not some wild rumor that Antario threw his shoe at Hammock and announced his intention to transfer to East Mississippi Community College.

RE: Brown and Waylee ???
Credle did well, 136 yards. Hopefully Waylee and Brown were being rested, they're quite a dual weapon.

Wish we we still had Ratdog, he was aewsome.

The yards were good, but he carried the rock 36 times for a 3.8 average. We only passed 18 times. He got those yards and served as our offense by force.

Very funny - thanks for the laugh.

Are you suggesting we would have done better offensively if our freshman walk-on QB, who was making his 2nd (or 1st, however you want to dice it) career start who threw 3 interceptions had thrown the ball more?

Think we'll see Lomax or Fletcher in the next two games?

No sir. I just wouldn't appoint Creidle the next great RB just yet. He did what he needed, but those stats are pedestrian.

Blakemore hasn't played much in last 3-4 games. I've seen him on kick returns occasionally. Is he injured too?

At one point last night, the announcers said Waylee, Brown, and Blakemore were all hurt.

I'm not arguing with you Big Red. But I wouldn't say he did well. Just okay.

Personally, I liked his game. Most of his poorer runs were due to poor blocking by the O-Line. Dozer ran into this on his few runs as well. No matter how good a guy is, if there isn't a hole, he ain't going anywhere and a lot of Credle's yards came either after contact or were buffed by falling forward when he was being tackled.

I just liked how hard he ran and how he was delivering hits as opposed to taking hits. The numbers aren't super impressive considering the carries, but I bet if you isolated each run and looked at the blocking effectiveness, his performance would look better.

That's not to say he won't develop and become a beast with more time and pt. I still think we are going to look great with Waylee and Antario back at some point. I hope the rumors are false and Antario finishes up here.

Hammock has always been the master of getting production out of unnamed RBs. Remember Rahveon Valentine and Rondarious Gregory? Outside of NIU he got journeyman Justin Forsett to the pro bowl and Gus Edwards is now a tank in the NFL. Kyle Jurscyzk is the highest paid FB. He's got real skill in developing RBs.

That's a rough take. Still got 3.8 YPC knowing they were running the ball almost every play. It looks like he has really good speed and was just one step away from breaking a big one.

Keep getting guys from GA.

I thought Credle ran very hard. Looked more like Ducker than Waylee. He never really had open space to see his speed or moves. “The next great” is always unlikely. “The next very good” is probably. Waylee is not going to be great, but he is very good. Credle has potential.

Agree not a lot of room to run for Credle. Was surprised looking at him how skinny his arms looked, definitely needs college weight room and diet. Did anyone else notice comparing him physically to Brown,Waylee and others I have seen run here. BTW, can't Dozier catch or block, no way on this roster should he be a RB.

Yeah, I noticed his arms too. Looked like a basketball players arms. He came here at 192lbs so I expect him to be a solid 205-210 eventually. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Dozier was getting so much hype in pre season. Kinda like Mccray. Turns out they’re mostly just bodies out there filling roles until someone productive gets back in the game.

Antario looked like he was ready for the NFL as a freshman. I saw him in DuSable when I went to go speak to the students recently. That dude could break me in half with 10% of his ability.

PLUS he was moving the pile. He looked really good. He can't help the other team runs run blitzes and otherwise gets into the backfield. But what he did when he had the opportunity looked impressive. With a little more time to get a little stronger---- I really like what I see. Same as I felt with Brown last year.
