Yup! Keep saying we keep trying to get cute with the gimmicks. Once you miss once you end up chasing that point the rest of the game. You wasted the element of surprise on a foiled attempt.

I thought he looked like he was walking kind of gingerly out there a few times. On one play it seemed he went down with no one around him, camera panned away and I thought he was hurt, but he bounced right back.

been watching KSU football 50 yrs ,seems
WE have always had an extreme number of unsportsmanlike
Penalties. Especially standing over other players and taunting.

Our long list of coaches have not been able to
eliminate this. Lack of discipline of our players upsetting.
I know they are college kids but Kent seems to lead the league annually
in these calls.

Maybe I’m nitpicking ???

Defense has been awesome tonight.

I saw that developing and thought his teammate pulled him away quick enough that we’d avoid the penalty. That flag came pretty quick. That said, if I were coach that penalty would lead to instant bench time until I feel it’s time you go back in again.

Nice to see Garcia in there getting some carries, would’ve been nice to get them earlier in more meaningful minutes of action. Between our top 3 backs you could be rotating in and out keeping the defense on their toes while our backs are fresh. Just when you plan for Cooper we throw Bradford out there to plow for some yards and then Garcia and back through again.

CMU takes down UB. Window to Detroit is cracking open.

Kent needs to win both games.
Buffalo loses to Kent.
Ohio loses both games.
BGSU loses to Toledo and beats Ohio.

That would give Kent head to head wins over all three teams with everyone tied at 5-3 in conference. I assume that would be the tie breaker and Kent would head to Detroit.

Suddenly our defense doesn't look so bad. Third straight game they've been at least decent. What's really impressive about how the defense played last night is the amount of injuries. It's looking like depth is starting to show on defense. LBs played really well last night.

Congrats on the win. BG's offense is garbage and you guys did well to exploit the many weaknesses it has.
