I had almost forgotten what any amount of energy/focus/intensity on the sidelines looked like.

My man Ryan is out there like he's watching his least favorite kid play a sport he doesn't care about.

Stop being a simpleton, for once. Your hero Ruin is not going to make it. A player would push him away and laugh him off if he ever actually showed an ounce of energy.

I am not a big fan of RS and think things should have been done differently but all I did was state a fact that we had a lot of personal fouls under MN and very few with RS. Looks like that scenario you mentioned wouldn’t happen bc we are not getting personal fouls.looks to me that the player walked away from MN.

Boy, you’re singing a different tune from the past 2 years about Ruin!! HA!

RE: This is what a football coach looks like
We need to do similar this year

2008 was 4-4 then won four in a row

Do remember that after that the Norvell team blew a huge lead at UCF in the title game (although it was indeed a title game as we won the tie breaker at 5-3 to make it) then lost to a Wake Forest team we were better than

But the core of that team came back in 2019 and team met high expectations in 2019

After 4-5 the best you can do is get to 8-5
We are now 5-5
Like out chances to get to 6-5 after North Alabama

Then a road game against a team we ARE better than in SMU. He cannot blow that game. He can lose it but cannot have coaching errors lead to a loss. The world is different if we are 8-2 right now and we should be.

7-5 heading to a bowl, win that bowl and I am fine. That’s one

2018 Memphis came back after a 32 point loss to an average Missouri team vs a skill player loaded Memphis team. The team was 4-4, on Sunday at the office Mike threw his cellphone over to Ryan and told him to look at all of the text messages.

His phone was filled with tiger fans and tiger boosters - some large - who were stating "you are the worst coach", "you need to leave here", "you will never win the big one", "you are wasting our time"

What kind of person would text that?

Besides being stupid it seems very rude and counter productive

Many Tiger fans are hyperemotional and are quick to criticize usually inappropriately. Now a days anyone who isn't emotional and hyper critical is inappropriate.

Literally had 3-4 last night, but in your turncoat approach of loving Ruin to now saying you are not a Ruin fan, nothing makes sense.

Any top notch coach would. Unlike you I realize this isn’t a destination job. Silverfield would be gone faster than you could blink an eye if he got offered Florida St , Virginia Tech, Kentucky or any school like that.

Hard to believe this, when you tell us that there are no boosters with the desire to run Silverfield off. Do we have a new group of boosters? Do they really like Silverfield more than Norvell?

Yes, let's hurry and give Silverfail an extension before someone snaps him up. Lmao

I suspect this story is coming from Silverfield's peeps. It's a way to deflect the heat that's being applied to them. "Hey, these same people criticized Norvell, so..."

Sending a mean text message is a lot cheaper than paying a buyout.

Exactly. I don't fault Norvell or Fuente for leaving. And I appreciate both for their time here.

Regardless of who you are a Peep of, a story is still a real story unless you yourself do not tell the truth.

Comments like yours are a mirror reflection of how "you" live your life which is sounds like on the "misleading end" based on if they are your peep. Most people do not change their opinion of someone regardless of how close they are to them.

Most rational people that is.

A couple of weeks ago, he said the boosters were okay with CRS and there was absolutely zero discussion about getting rid of him.
But these same boosters - some large, according to the poster - were aggressively going at Norvell?
Smells fishy.

You always bring up that Missouri game which meant nothing in the grand scheme of things. We won the division that year and went to the championship game. We haven’t sniffed the title game under RS. To compare the two is just silly. I’m not into the whole attendance thing but check those from Norvell’s time to now and get back with me. Calkins was on this morning and said that we were hardly under 35K unless it was a weather issue.

lol

You condescendingly come on here and brag of your stories of wining and dining, then want to try to judge on me? If comments on an anonymous message board are a reflection of how we live our lives, then heaven help the people who you are around on a daily basis.

And if you think a coach feeling some heat - and he is, regardless of what you say - wouldn't exaggerate a story to try to deflect some heat, in order to save his "dream job", then bless your heart.
