Seems odd that 12 of the 14 schools have 1 permanent opponent except for Tulane and Tulsa.

My guess is the AD's didn't want to force a rivalry?
But it's already a great mascot rivalry - Golden Hurricanes v. (Angry) Green Wave.

Anybody else get irrationally excited about this? See y'all in New Orleans next season!

I wish we could have gotten SMU or ECU on the schedule for that first season but whatever...this is about as close to perfect (IMO) as it gets.

Awesome! Great news getting Memphis as an annual game.

Home schedules are definitely more attractive. I like that only one home game for the next 2 years is against a former CUSA team and only two of the four in 2025 and 2026.

Next year’s schedule is tough. NC A&T is typically much better than A&M or Alabama State. Georgia Southern should be improved. Louisiana as we know is a solid Sun Belt team even if they declined from peak Napier. Georgia may be two-time defending national champs. Yikes. Then in conference it looks like a significant upgrade as well.

Same. Would love to make the trip there either next year or in 2026.

I am already looking at going to Annapolis, New Orleans, Statesboro, Athens and why not, maybe Denton and San Antonio. Those are all pretty easy and fun trips. Doubt I make them all but I definitely want to hit Anapolis…

Will be interesting to see how how TV picks these. Gotta figure a couple of midweek games. On our end NC A&T is a Thursday game.

Looking at the schedule next year the line from Cool Hand Luke comes to mind "that's the way he wants it. Well he gets it"

The fans on the American board are super unexcited about all of this. Even ECU fans talking lots of trash. The difference in the reception the CUSA 6 is getting from the legacy AAC fans compared to the reception the new Sun Belt teams got is night and day.

WGAS?!? They were never happy about this since they announced realignment. So what's new.

The sunbelt lost no one and gained 3.
The AAC lost 3 big names and gained 6 CUSA old rivals.
I can't blame them and I don't care.

"Screw 'em and feed 'em fish heads!"
