Their run D isn't great, they give up 5.5 ypc. We can probably play ball control offense, and just run it down their throats.

They run at a 5.2 yards per carry clip so I'm assuming they are hoping to pick up where Hampton left off against our run defense.

I do think our less than stout run D last week is fixable so not a major concern. [/b]

Woooooo! FINALLY able to make it to a game this year and I guess I'm bringing the rain. Plus 13 other people.

Weather forecast now sunny and in the 60s.

I’d like to see more 2 RB sets with Yoder as one of the 2 backs.

At this point in the season I think that the running QB/ passing QB thing has diminished returns, although Mathis made a good play toward the end of the Hampton game. I would utilize him more as a receiver. Wilson is the man in my opinion.

Newton makes some great catches and can make plays after the catch. Not sure he should be in single safety receiving punts.

WR’s are a very good unit in general with several good options.

Not sure why we don’t throw more to Pitts. He is an amazing weapon that seems to be underutilized. I would love to see him have a dozen catches over the next 2 games. Think Gronk or Kelce.

Kudos to the O line. These guys have shown up and played well all year.

Front 7 on defense have been stout, but may need a new wrinkle or two in their schemes. We seem a bit less aggressive and more predictable in d play calling as the season matures.

Corners and safeties have been a bit of a revolving door due to injuries and ejections.

Hopefully they are healthy and ready for the last two games. They are a great unit when healthy.

Chang is a very good kicker. No problem relying on him as a difference maker.

We have the talent to win out and make a statement in the playoffs. I’m hoping that comes to pass.

Nice write up in the Richmond paper today. Nice to see hard work paying off for these young men.
Had to laugh at "STAIB LIKE TRIBE"...I am not sure I have heard the announcer in the stadium saying that correctly....

Each game has become more important thanks to the daily efforts and success from the team. I hope they go out and have a very rewarding Senior Day this week.

Remember, last year's crowning achievement was the first 3 quarters of the game at Villanova where the Tribe completed dominated. The game Saturday will likely be a lot more competitive.

I think the play of the OLine and DLine has been the driving force for all the sucess this season. On QB, I like Wilson and hope he continues to lead and develop over the next 60 days to finish off an amazing season.

Villanova will have to stack the box against the run or we will simply run all over them. That should leave some deep seam routes for Pitts open. I hope we keep it real simple and limit stupid turnovers. Need to keep people healthy too.

Villanova has some weapons on the offensive side of the ball, but have struggled to score in recent weeks. Their run defense, like noted above, is awful.

Can’t play like we did against Hampton.

Because of their problems with run stopping they may be playing 8 or more in the box much of the day. In which case, we may see more passing from Darius. Hope he has a solid day throwing the ball.
My tip: find Lachlan whenever possible.

After that TD, W&M 100 yards of offense, Villanova 0.
