If we continue the wild swings in consistency for the last two games, unfortunately we will likely be home for the holidays. I don't think we are a lock at 6-6, to be honest.

Congrats Chants, hopefully we can give you a tougher game in Hattiesburg. Our defense collapsed at the worst possible time unfortunately, that 3 play drive late was a back breaker.

I'm not pumping sunshine, I just don't see the need for attacking the coaching staff with name calling. GEP has too much drama now- unless it changed since I left.

It's hard to describe that drive as anything other than a collapse- but what seemed to kill the 20-0 momentum we'd built was the drop by Jones that hit him right in the chest/hands and would have been a first down on the plus side of the field.

100% agree Frog did what a receiver simply cannot do, and let the ball get into his pads. You have to catch the ball with your hands! This got beat into my head as a mediocre high school receiver myself.

Also, you are really missing out by not being on the Golded Eagle Pride board. Glyn and Drew have been doing an outstanding job lately getting us members exclusive info well before anyone else knows it. The ignore feature allows you to "ignore" anyone that you prefer to not read their responses. It is by far the most active and full of information USM sports message board there is. I still pay a membership over at the old Lanny Mixon board, but it's just declining in volume of info day after day.

I do apologize if I have somehow offended you or hurt your feelings. I love USM dearly, but will completely admit a decade of sucking in football has made me fairly impatient. I was spoiled with our good teams in the 90s, and I am struggling to accept how terrible we have been for a decade.

It's all good. There is no cause for any apology. I just had enough at the other place. We can bat things around here just as well.
