Which is a travesty, because this conference bowl arrangements suck. The AAC championship game is basically all or nothing for a good bowl. The runner up essentially has to hope for either a 6-6 P5 team or potentially gets stuck with a group of 5 delight that nobody is gonna care about.

Honestly, I cannot wait to get a better bowl lineup in the Big 12. Aresco better stand on his head trying to improve the AAC bowl lineup next go around.

Forget about that - - Aresco is the one who got us into this situation.

The only positive is that 7 of the 11 AAC 1.2 teams and 7 of the 14 AAC 2.0 teams will be playing in bowl games.

Memphis is likely headed to Independence or Frisco. That's the 2 bowl reps who were there on Saturday. My guess: Memphis to Shreveport, SMU to Frisco.

Yes. They were at SMU. I think Independence was there for Memphis and Frisco for SMU. We'll see.

True, obviously I want the Cotton Bowl first, but there is one 6-6 team that I wouldn't mind beating for a second year in a row.
