Seriously though I am gonna miss Memphis maybe most of all. Lots of fond memories and close games that will be burned into my brain forever. And Memphis fans always gave a damn, no matter how the team was playing going in or what the result was.

Great game, Memphis. It’s been a helluva run through our C-USA days, AAC days, and beyond. This is one of the matchups I’ll miss the most if not just for the sheer consistency in which we played.

You are well positioned to challenge yearly for the NY6 slot. With UCF undoubtedly having a bit of a learning curve in the Big XII, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for Memphis to match or surpass our appearances in the coming years.

Good luck to UCF in the future. There have been some classics although UCF almost always came out on top. Hopefully the administration at Memphis will decide to make the investments necessary to get called up someday.

It's going to be strange, moving forward into the new conference. Ever since I've been a fan, there's always been consistent programs to compare yourself to, year in and out, and with every game we play this year, it's another goodbye said to those teams. UCF will be in truly new territory, with "real" history among only Houston and Cincinnati.

It's been fun Memphis. Of any program remaining in this conference, you guys deserve the first phone call. Let's hope we meet again in the postseason, but please try and treat us better than BYU lol

UCF, Houston and UC are probably our 3 best rivals in both major sports, certainly for the last decade or so.

I harbor no ill will with your move up, and wish all of you the best.

Tiger fans right now just feel like we got thrown in the dumpster. And that's no disrespect to any school remaining, just the way it feels, given our circumstances.
