Now it's time to MUCK FIAMI!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohio fans. I am curious. Although Tim Albin had been groomed for several years. Is it safe to say the emotional loss of Frank Solich was a lot for the players last year?

I say this because I was the lone senior (rest were juniors) on a good, but not great cross country team. The coach left after my senior year and the team wasn't the same the following year.

I don't have any insight into the team, but from my perspective, I'd say yes it is safe to say that. Coach Solich's retirement came as a shock to many, if not most, Ohio fans and certainly to the team. It happened in July and, even though Albin has been around the team for a long time, I think there was still a sense of loss for the team and a mad scramble to get ready for the 2021 season.

He seems to have righted the ship, though, at least so far this season. And, I have heard the players really like Albin and want to play for him.

Thanks for sharing. Football focuses too much on the physical aspect of the game from my perspective.

That's SOP, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, it didn't get any better. I turned on the ESPN2 game between Ohio and Buffalo and the halftime report was nothing but them talking about SEC as well.

Pretty much what every sports outlet was talking about. At least it wasn’t an Eli Manning retread segment that they showed two weeks in a row.

The Ball State at Toledo games will be on ESPN Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday is of course Election day. I wonder how large of a national audience will prefer to watch MAC football over election results.

Meh. 2012 red vs. blue. Ranked Toledo vs. Ball State was awesome. Tuesday is CFP rankings day. Some of that talk is irrelevent to us because our conference pooped the bed OOC. If we mattered theyd mix it in. But these TV booths are off site... expect it. Turn on local radio anouncers instead.

Maybe they should put Chris Berman and some of the others on ESPN SportsCenter "Decision Desk 2022."

Berman: "That's three votes out of Vermont for 'Delaware Joe' who is 'Biden His Time.'"

Lee Corso: "Not so fast, my friend!" [Puts an elephant head on his head.]

Second thought, maybe we are better off sticking with #MACtion on Election Night and just clicking back and forth.

I'm probably just going to drink and pass out.
