WOW!!! The best part is when he said he'd done it in a video game and didn't know it would work.

I’ve also done on the Xbox. You have to be on minimal damage setting or it blows your tires.

RE: Racing - Ride the Wall
Want to preference my position up front.

Every morning I awake having to deal with the aftermath of a crash.

My life changed forever up against the inside guardrail.

In a way, I am one of the lucky ones.

All I have to do is contend with pain and limited mobility in my remaining days.

Others locally came away feeling no pain.

They have no feeling whatsoever in the lower part of their body.

Still, others have a different pain, as my best friend ever in racing deals with emotional pain after losing his brother in a crash.

Right at a dozen local members of our sport have paid the ultimate price.

We chose our sport knowing the dangers of the sport.

That's why I have no respect for those who do reckless things that add additional danger to the sport.

Both Wallace two weeks ago and Chastain this past weekend showed complete disrespect for their fellow drivers.

While there is a rule against what Wallace did.

Unfortunately what Chastain did is technically legal.

Even though it was every bit as dangerous as what Wallace did.

Unlike Wallace, who I think got a wake-up call after being suspended one week.

Chastain has been a repeat offender this year.

Choosing repeatedly to knock someone out of the way instead of racing them clean.

The latest group of drivers coming up, just like a lot of other sports, have no respect for their competitors.

It may take a driver's death to get them to change.

Dude.

Chastain wasn't remotely near anyone to wreck because no one races alongside the wall there.

Before entering turn 3 he got against the wall floored it and took his hands off the wheel.

If his tire went flat, which happens when you rub against the wall.

If a part broke, which happens when you rub against the wall.

If the safer barrier had a dent in it.

If a chunk of tire rubber fell on to track surface.

Any of these could have caused him to bounce off the wall into oncoming traffic.

If any of these happened he could control the car if he has his hands on the wheel.

Without his hands on the wheel there's no way of controlling car if something happens.

While there are times during a crash in progress you should let go of the wheel to prevent a broken hand.

The situation he was in is not a proper time to take his hands off the wheel.
