First, thanks for sharing this, Luckey! I never find anything on YouTube for some reason.

Second, I want to point out a couple things of Noah on that video. He had a couple really nice assists shown and one of his two blocks shown. Noah’s shooting in the video is old news, he did all that stuff last year. But court vision has really improved this year. And do think he has stepped up his defensive intensity (not that it was bad last year, just stepped up a notch). I mentioned these improvements before and hoping they hold up for the year.

ESPN has picked us the the MAC sleeper team.

Interesting quote from the article on the MSU vs GVSU game:
“…with the Lakers taking advantage, going on a 15-4 run to take a 20-13 lead with just more than 10 minutes to play in the half…”

Given I posted this from the EMU vs GVSU game (in page 2 of this thread):
“Way too many open 3s for GVSU. They are up 20 to 13 at the 10 minute mark”

Very similar games. I think Oakland faired better then either EMU or MSU.

Noah's shooting is solid. Watch as he goes straight up on short jump shots and floaters and doesn't lean in which is crucial to making his shot.

He's taking his game to a new and higher level. His exceptional ball-handling has allowed for that. Sit back and enjoy watching him. He's a sight to behold. He's now playing under control without sacrificing his quickness.

As he's worked hard on his multiple hesitation and change of direction moves that helps him find open space to shoot, makes for better non-contested shots, allows him to get to the hoop cleanly without his lay-ups being contested, and improves his court vision to dish the ball off when warranted.

It's why Noah's assists should rise and his turnovers decline.

Also, we should see him garner rebounds and make steals as he did last year.

Maybe Steve Bell was correct to rank Grand Valley as the number 1 D2 school this year. All this prep against D1 should prepare them nicely.
