NIU 31
CMU 27

Smaller crowd. We, unlike many other colleges, count actual butts in the seats and report that exact number as "attendance" ;(

I have not seen where Lombardi is listed as the starter? Two deeps released?

I am hoping Waylee and Brown have big days. Would love to see 2 1,00 yard rushers. Not much else

There's a big OR Justin Lynch. I believe it's been like this every week since Rocky was injured.

If it's JL5, it will be 99.9% runs.......and a very easy victory for CMU.

Thank you- as much as it would be exciting to see Rocky this week and for immediate gratification, I would rather he sit out rest of year and come back strong for full season. What we do not know is what does Rocky want?

I’ve been mostly negative, it’s been a tough year for all NIU Football fans, so I’ll say a few positives and that I think we win.

1. Our D has been better materially better the last 2 weeks. Having at least an average D is an absolute must for any future sustained success, including being able to win OOC games and even gasp… bowl games.

2. We have a good offensive scheme when we decide to run it or have a QB capable of doing that.

3. We still have the best running game MAC, and one of best in G5. The partial/mostly success in that area this year is against stacked boxes with teams often knowing that’s the play.

4. I remain a Hammock supporter (doesn’t mean I agree with everything, very far from lol) and think he turns it back around in future.

Probably will get battered for posting anything positive, but whatever.

Happy Halloween!

Ohio is putting a whooping on Buffalo right now. Somehow we always seem to get at least two of the MAC East's best teams in our crossover schedule each year.

Game Day! The weather is going to be perfect, get out to Huskie Stadium if you can.

Go Huskies, let's have some fun today. Hoping Rocky does not suit up, not because he is injured, but because he is locking into leading the team next season.

CMU and NIU were supposed to be vying for the West this year, now both are bottom dwellers. Anyone but Toledo, please.

Nice weather, lets see a decent crowd (for an ESPN-imposed weekday game), and a much needed NIU victory!

Also hoping Rocky is sitting out tonight, and coming back next year. If he's back, and our coaching staff is one more season less-naive, we could be dangerous.
