That would make sense if the QB was the sole reason for wins and losses. I think people should appreciate that Heinicke has helped them win games while understanding that it is not sustainable without better QB play

Heinicke took over the same team that Wentz was 1-4 with and turned it around to 5-1-1 (including a win over the undefeated Eagles)! I know it's a team game and 1 man doesn't make or break the outcome, but Heinicke is a winner. I will take a QB that is 11 for 23 with 2 TD's and 0 Int and wins over one that is 30 for 36 with 2 TD's and 3 Int and loses every day. And so would the fans, just look how Taylor has turned the Washington crowd around. He ain't pretty, he's a winner.

Wentz is pretty terrible so Im not sure what that means, but look at the play of the defense since Heinicke took over compared to before.

My point exactly! The Commanders had so little confidence in Heinicke as their starting QB that they went and spent $30M on the terrible QB Wentz! Stupid.

Bad decision but worth a try to see if they could find a starting QB.

They already had one!!!

The stage is set. Sunday Night Football for TH in a huge game vs. the Giants. Winner has a leg up on a playoff spot. This will be a big game for Heinicke's career.

And one other thing, we will hear "Taylor Heinicke - Old Dominion" during NBC's player intros. (and an outside chance to hear OX too)
