Compare the atmosphere at our game Thursday with the one at FIU last night, which looked like mausoleum. We’ve had home weeknight games on CBSSN in CUSA and they were nothing special. It’s different when ESPN is in town. And top that with a renewal of a rivalry that is a SBC game now. You see why we are grateful to be in the SBC. It makes a big difference.

Maybe Wi-Fi coverage is sketchy at the gas stations where they are watching their games.

As we get better it’s going to improve. And being in the SBC makes it better with opponents that our fans care about and ESPN exposure, which means a ton.

SBC seems to have revived our content team as well. Some of the best work they have done in years
