Pays to have good golf courses to train on when the only hills you have are a bridge and a dump. It's exciting to see these athletes get recognition.

This certainly deserves its own thread. Our AD tweeted out TOLEDO is ranked higher than every MAC and Big Ten school. That's amazing and something to celebrate. Coach McDonough has done wonders for the program, which has always been solid if I'm not mistaken.

It's not your imagination, Rocky Top. Briggs, and the UT beat writer, Kyle Rowland, are writing some pretty darn good articles. Both writers might just be the best sports journalists we've had in many-a-year.

Not sure who gets the byline for the coverage of UT opponents (football to date) but, IMO, that's a major step forward!
