Debo is an unselfish teammate and he is one of the best RBs in the country. He is deserving of consideration and doesn’t get the media coverage of other top RBs. If UAB didn’t promote him, people would criticize that! And recruits and people who might like to raid the roster might too.

I am not picking on you now Blazin, I am genuinely curious: what *should* they be doing if not this?

The comm staff at UAB in seriously understaffed and underfunded and those folks work their tails off. They produce some awesome content, get little help from local media and when I look at this, at least to me, it looks like if includes all the data you would expect to see for this sort of thing. They waited until mid season when he had done 5 straight 100 yard games and was still leading nation in a category. I think it is very much on brand for Debo, he is not a flashy, self promotion kind of guy anyway, or at least I don’t think so.

That seems pretty genuine to me but what is it you would want to see?

If everyone on the board would simply put BinB on ignore, this would be a much more pleasant place.

He has the right to say what he wants, but the rest of us have the right to ignore him.

I can barely stand to read this board anymore. Almost every thread is infested with his ridiculous, self imposed expert posts. They are like ants at a picnic. Piss ants. Gnawing away at everything. Just makes you want to avoid the picnic altogether.

This board is drowning in persistent negativity toward almost everything, much of it uniformed. Criticism is fine when deserved, and within reason, but the constant barrage of negativity is not fun. I find myself visiting less and less often because it’s neither interesting nor entertaining, although we are experiencing tremendous success as a program. I’m not the only one who finds the tone boorish.

Btw, great idea for UAB to promote Debo for this award! Tremendous talent and sounds like an equally good person.
