EMU at BSU
I hope EMU (1-2) can hang a defeat onto BSU (2-1). That would give the Cardinal 2 defeats. The other way around would be EMU to lose and be at 1-3 coming into UT on the 29 Oct. UT gets BSU the following week at Toledo for perhaps all the marbles. Beating UB could go a long ways in capturing the West Title.

On another note, I think Miami and Kent State could be out of the picture now for the East title. Miami with their back up QB, now must win at home against the Broncos.

Looking ahead, I wonder what the temp will be at Western (maybe snow) on Nov 25 ?

RE: EMU at BSU
I know we are just the fans and we can look ahead and clear the path we think wins the West, but lets hope the players and coaches just focus on each week and forget about the prior week or the next week. My concern with this game coming up is whether or not it took too much out of the players. They looked pretty well spent after the game - mostly because some were forced to play more on defense than normal with all the guys out. Could also have given them a hell of a lot of confidence after the start, then shutting them out in the 2nd half - or essentially after the 1st quarter (they scored their 28th point 3 seconds into the 2nd Qtr.) Then nothing but a field goal to Toledo's 45 points after Q1.

Knowing that to be true what MotoRocket had said, I would think the coaching staff this week would have taken a little been easier on the players considering the injuries that took place during the home. I hoping Holt, Stuart, and Blankumsee will see action. I am wondering if Hook can go as well ?

Hook ran more and faster on the sideline than any of the active players. He must have driven his parents nuts. Talk about a high motor.

Thought I saw him dressed for the game, but wasn't sure. I only got a glimpse of what looked to be #25. I wonder if he would have played if Bauer had gone out - which looked like might happen after the intercept.

Hook was not dressed. Just in his jersey and sweats. Just like a number of other injured Rockets.

If we win out and this will be considered a very good year and team. But that loss on the west coast really sucks!

who cares-----all I want is a MACC- nothing else matters this season and nothing else would replace that, including any stupid bowl game, winning seasons (plus bowl games-lost) since 2018 season, aspiration this season needs to be MACC
