I can see where most of you are coming from on this subject and it’s understandable, but UWF was established a year or two before South. They have grown over the years, but like USA, did not start a football program until much later. For those that don’t know, the Argonauts are an NCAA Div. 2 member of the Gulf South Conference. They’ve been quite successful since starting up. Personally I believe it’s a little too premature for them to be talking FBS, especially Sun Belt Conference athletics, but 5-7 years from now, who knows what the make up of college football (what we are really talking about), will be like?

You guys can drop down a division and hold their hand. They would not improve our media deal and would therefore not be worth adding, along with anybody available right now. That is why this is dumb. At least wait until a viable situation occurs where this might be remotely f-ing relevant.

And isn't realignment garbage while there is no realignment considered off topic here? How about school pimping? I guess CUSA has the better board in those regards.

I would be perfectly happy to consider UWF in 12-15 years if they are able to build a fan base and maintain their football success, but talking about them now is like a kid in Kindergarten talking about who they want to be their date to senior prom.

Brilliant reply. Not... Who the hell said anything about wanting them in the Sun Belt? Any school that has the ambition and money can move up to FBS, by way of FCS if they qualify otherwise, more power them. Relax it isn't going to cost you a dime one way or another.
