I think he has a 50-50 chance of staying with 4-8. He's JK's Stanford guy, remember. Only ways I see him going are 1) JK goes or 2) Stanford calls (that's actually being suggested on the Stanford message boards).

Not sure about players back, but our defense appears to be banged up with Morrison and Nyakwol probably out.

I'm worried about McMahon but leaning on a bounce back effort. He played well against La Tech last year despite turnovers, I imagine Tech hasn't forgotten and will try to limit his strengths. If he avoids crunch time turnovers, we'll be fine. We have enough weapons to do better on offense and our defense is good enough despite being banged up.

LaTech needs to win tomorrow to salvage any sort of positives for their new coach this year.
Playing in Ruston has always been tough for us.

Tomorrow we start what is arguably a very winnable series of games… LaTech, Charlotte and UTEP. Win all three (2 out of 3 at HRS) and we are bowl eligible. I don’t think that is lost on the players or coaching staff.
LaTech has a definite weakness in defending the run. And it sounds like… referencing coach B’s coachspeak this week…. We will try to take advantage of that run defense weakness. Duh.
Do I think we will win convincingly?
Of course not!

But the Owls prevail in Ruston. Not easily.
