I wish the tournament selection committee would stop making MWC a 3-4 bid conference. SDSU was the only MWC to win today out of 4! that they sent, and it took them 11 games to finally win one of the past few tournaments.
UNT and UAB could have made more noise than the other MWC teams.
Actually I'm just jealous they can send 4 22+win teams to the tournament while FAU would have been the only team to get an at large with 30 wins if we would have beat them in the tournament.
Here's hoping the AAC becomes a 3-4 bid conference again.

It can if we all keep playing good basketball; and for the love of god start scheduling better.

I hear you regarding the MWC. I don’t believe Nevada should have been there, but the other three were highly ranked.
The AAC only received two bids, and Houston will move to the Big 12 next season. I thought C-USA was quite good this season. I’m not convinced the AAC will be that much better next season. Competing against Memphis will definitely be a challenge.
Tulsa should be better with the two La Tech players, but they were awful this year. Wichita and Temple are looking for new coaches right? UTSA was already bad and just lost their only good players. Does Perry have any more eligibility? UNT should still be good either way, but if McCasland leaves, who knows. Same for FAU, should be good but who knows if May is staying. We are retooling next year. USF sucked. ECU sucked. Don't know much about their squads. Not sure who returns on Charlotte, but they should be solid.
All that to say, yes, I really don't think next years AAC will be markedly better than this years CUSA. Probably a spot or 2 higher at most from what CUSA was this year.
Playing a better schedule is imperative, unless AK and everyone is content with having to win the conference tournament every year or win 28+ games.
Good job FAU .. glad for them. Crazy that’s their first ncaa win in freaking program history. I’m salty that they’re having the season we should’ve had, but that really puts the big picture into perspective for me.
Penny is an ******* and the epitome of class. Throwing his water bottle like an indignant child when they got beat. The constipated old man walk of one of their players through the hand shake line was also very rewarding.
I’m glad to be playing Memphis again. Maybe we can actually be competitive against them again since mike Davis’s choking self is gone.
I was thinking of expansion going to top16 get byes. 96 teams play in first round. No need for the playin games of 11's and 16's. So instead of 68 teams you would have 112 teams. 8 pods of 14 teams. All eight of the 1's and 2's get byes like I said. The matchups would be like they are today. 3/14, 4/13, 5/12, 6/11, 7/10 and 8/9. Maybe each conference gets 2 bids. Tourney and regular season champs. It would be a huge money machine and many chances for underdogs to perform well.
I agree in that the regular season champs in conferences often get hosed. Winning your regular season is always more impressive than a 3 or 4 day tournament. I feel like that bud criteria has always been bass ackwards.
