Going to the Glass Bowl as 9 points dogs isn’t going to be easy. Toledo is 4-2 with road losses to Ohio State and San Diego State. They’ve put up the most points of anybody in the MAC and are 2nd in points allowed so they will be tough on both sides of the ball. Can’t try and get into a shootout with a team that doesn’t give up much unless you’ve found some weaknesses and can exploit them. Their QB leads them in rushing and their WR1 and WR2 have 340 and 341 yards respectively so it appears they’re balanced on the attack as well.

Also, just noted in their game notes that Kent State graduate Gary Pinkel will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in Las Vegas on December 6th. Did KSU put anything out?

I have shaken off the disappointment from last week and I'm eager to see how this team bounces back. Hopefully they practiced some qb sneaks this week to help convert on short yardage plays. I'm predicting that the defense shows up big tomorrow and Kent wins 34-21.

Its been mentioned but not much. I believe 72 team is being honored
at NORKA game and he will be in town. Below great article about him was in Seattle paper
when we played Washington

I still remember the 40th anniversary and reunion of that great team. Felt fortunate to chat with Gary before he left, but also got to sit and watch the game with Coach James.

Schlee looks to be moving well again. Also seems like he's holding the ball at the mesh point much longer than previous games so far today. That was a staple of Crum's game that made our run game so difficult to defend.
