Yeah stick a fork in Stras, he's done. Hope we can get a settlement now with insurance and be able to release him to be able to have the 40 man roster spot in the offseason.

Saw this interesting thing from St Louis Newspaper:
After testing a new element of PitchCom on Monday that allowed him to call his own pitches from the mound, Adam Wainwright will use that same technology when he starts in Saturday’s Grapefruit League opener against Washington in order to see how it works in a live game. The veteran right-hander will have the device to call his own pitches affixed to his glove near his wrist.

Sounds a smidge like what we saw in the all star game with Nestor Cortes calling his pitches.

Dogs' Gavin Lux to miss 2023 season with torn right ACL

Wow. Hope he can recover. Much as I'm not a fan of the Dogs, don't want great players to get hurt like that. Dogs will do some shifting around, but this won't really hurt their chances in any significant way.

Yeah- sadly one of first things on the 2023 MLB thread I started is this.

To me the Dodgers have a far greater gap between their Ceiling and Floor than they've had in a long time.
