MyBB Former Rocket BBallers in the Pros
Looks like Nathan Boothe is quickly making a home for himself in Japan, as he led the Sendai 89ers with 18 points and 10 boards in their season opening win, and scored 26 (6 threes) in another game.

Some highlights from the opening game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqVA05Y-DE4

And, if you ever wondered how to spell "Nathan Boothe" in Japanese (helps in searching) it is:
ネイサン・ブース

Also saw some tweets about Marreon Jackson having a couple 20+ point games as he opened his career in Turkey, but have not been able to find stats for that league yet.

Also USAbasket shows:

Steve Taylor, Jr playing the Philippines this year. I believe he had been playing in Israel.
Jonathan Williams playing in Czechia (formerly calls the Czech Republic)
JD Weatherspoon playing in Japan
Taylor Adway is playing in Kosovo
Spencer Littleson now playing in Portugal
Lucas Antunez still playing in Spain

And of course we have heard about Chris Darrington trying to make it into the G League.

Link to English translation of Japanese story on Boothe, being asked about the earthquake in Turkey, since he had played there before.

And speaking of the earthquake, reportedly Chris Darrington, who was playing in Syria, was there during the quake but made it out safely. He's back in Toledo playing for the Glass City Wranglers in The Basketball League, and averaging something like 35 points a game.

Double figures every game but one where he went 34 minutes and got 2 points.

How badly would a 5 ex players from the past decade at UT win the MAC? Less coaching spectators of their personal lives with new habits of being an adult, but still in great shape with bigger muscles and a more refined game...

Boothe, Jon Jon, J.D. Marreon, and Steve Taylor for example.

Looks like Boothe is having a good time in Japan. Pick yourself up a "Nathan's American Float" next time you are in Japan. :)

He was waived as they shifted around the bottom of their roster. Imagine he ends up on someone's G League team

Rollins gets the whole 4th quarter in a blowout loss to Celtics. Career highs 7 pts 3 ast 4 stl. Garbage time but had a +14 and the 4 steals in a quarter is impressive.

Surprising stat: Rollins scored seven in twelve minutes without making a field goal. 0-2 from the floor, 7-8 from the line.

Rollins gets the final 7 minutes of garbage time in another Wizards blowout loss but leads a rally and forces the Hawks to put Trae Young and some starters back in as Wiz close the margin to 9. stat line is 6 pts 1 reb 1 blk 1 ast 0 TO and a +14, no missed shots. Again, it's not happening in a close game but Ryan taking advantage of some opportunity and getting more comfortable on a NBA court is good news.

RE: Former Rocket BBallers in the Pros
The young man from Toledo and Detroit does it again coming on in garbage time to make an apparent Wizards blowout loss suddenly interesting. down 21 with 7 minutes to go Ryan gets of the floor and
- has a def reb push and assist for a fast break 3 that leads to a Heat timeout to put their starters back in
- takes Tyler Herro to the hole for an and 1
- blocks a Bam Adebayo dunk
- 7 pts, 2 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 0 TO, 2-4 fg
- Heat win by 7

it's come late in games that looked to be over so take it with a grain of salt but in 32 minutes this yr the 1-4 Wizards have an unreal +45 point differential with Rollins on the floor.
