While we were asking which color she preferred, she seemed annoyed. After a couple moments, I realized that she was annoyed because she heard that she missed a TD (which made me proud).
When I read the postgame articles, I was surprised to read that Shropshire had a long TD reception. Now that I watch the replay, I realize that’s the TD we missed.
My gosh, what a route, what a throw, what a TD
It wasn’t chilly on the east side, in the sun. Jeepers!
it was like a different world in the shade and the sun

Grayson didn’t do a thing wrong. He handed the ball to a support staff member. The football belonged to them. He didn’t say a word.

The showed the replay and that was not even close to interference.
Reading the thread, I was pretty sure I knew what play you were talking about, but wanted to see it again…
In person, when the ball was in the air, I yelled “gotta turn, gotta turn”—before the flag was thrown, I said “that’s pass interference”
I was explaining to my daughter that the defender made contact with the receiver way before he turned to look for the ball
As I watch the replay, it’s not quite as obvious a PI as I thought in person, but the ball was in the air, and there was contact well before ST5 turned to look…I have no problem with the call

Meh...same ole same
"No one at the games" We have more people walking around than in the seats. That's why we look emptier than it is.
"Most people would rather go to the ua/au games" and in the same breath "The tickets are too expensive" So the same people that would rather go see ua or au can't afford a UAB ticket, but think they can afford a SEC ticket and game. GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK. This tells me people haven't really paid for a ticket to an SEC or any P5 game.
One jagleg was too lazy to walk to Bartow for a free ticket, and to lazy and cheap to park 2 blocks away and walk to the stadium for FREE.
"It's a commuter school" What a yutz. We are a urban campus. Just like every other school that wasn't establish over 120yrs ago. I've been to Louisville and you might as well be in Ensley. I'm taking commuter school means not a lot of on-campus housing, which someone pointed out that UAB has about 4 or 5 dorms now on campus and the amount of university connected apartment buildings going up.
"It's still in Birmingham and not safe" Then stay over the mountain and north of 65. Jeebus
The true comment I agree with was gaining momentum and losing to teams like Rice and Liberty and then wondering why the next home game crowd isn't as big.
The OC play calling was dull. That may change after the MTSU game.
Bunch of whiners and excuses

MTSU was opportunistic and capitalized on all of the Miami turnovers. And not to take anything away from MTSU win over them because it was a great win, but I don't believe Miami is as good as advertised.
One of their fans got quite mouthy at one point about their Miami win. He told whoever he was yelling at that we wouldn’t have done that and we consistently don’t win games we were supposed to. It was hard to argue with anything he said. It is weird that a team beats Miami and then starts out 0-2 in CUSA though.

They have started conference play against UTSA and UAB. It doesn’t get much easier next Saturday as they host WKU.

Easy response.
"Enjoy Rick Stockstill for the next decade!"
Also: "Miami sucks."
