Not official yet but I doubt very seriously any of our allotment gets returned. We have a huge alumni base down there. I know folks down there that haven't made the trip to Harrisonburg in ten years that have tickets for this one.

You might be surprised, Tech even returned part of their allotment.

Our first win against JMU may be my favorite ODU football game of all time. ***** slapped their smug asses.

I can tell you the gold lot is largely empty. Not sure who assigns the spots but perhaps you could reach out to ODAF to see if they’ll provide unused spots. Or you could probably park on the street surrounding the lot and just set up in an empty spot (b/c the lot is mostly empty, except for the obvious premium spots).

For the JMU fans making the trip, my tailgate group is hosting our third annual Toys for Tots collection drive. Bring new unwrapped toys or cash if you want to get involved. ODU ROTC members will be walking around the black, silver and blue lots with ammo cans for the cash donations. And there will be a collection site on 49th Street next to the Black Lot. Look for the AAV and the Marines. The main collection site will be in the rear of the blue lot. Just walk towards the tennis courts and look for the Marines. You’re welcome to join us in pregaming. Our tailgate group has also arranged for a flyover pregame with 2 F18s. Gonna be a great day for the Oyster Bowl and this renewed rivalry.

I looked at this lot today and folks parked here at no charge. It's a nice grass lot so I think tail gaiting here should be not problem.
