I would hope that Cisch Reeves either gets a look or gets to be kept on. I know that doesn't normally happen, but if it does this defense is fun to watch. Reminds me of the old Ravens.

CC fans over at the SB forum are so salty about the idea of drawing UAB instead of a P5. I think getting them in New Orleans would be fun. App State as well.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to play them right now either. Not the way things are going.

As far as taking their coach, LoL. I'll believe it when I see it. We are conducting a national coaching search and I can honestly say I know that. I still hope we can keep Reeves. His defense is fun to watch.

That worked out well for us last time someone thought they deserved a better opponent

10 of the 12 projections have Coastal facing a C-USA opponent in various bowls...

Only two of the pundits project them against P5 opponents...one vs. SC in Birmingham and one vs. Utah in the Cotton.

I actually understand why CC would feel that way and it has nothing to do with playing UAB. The NO Bowl is pretty much the SBC top bowl game and they're stuck with playing a G5 team every year.

never gonna officially happen...the NCAA now allocates the number of bowl tie ins per conference, based upon the average number of bowl eligble teams each conference produced over the previous 10 seasons.

BUT the ties to specific bowls (within the ESPN bowls) are basically moot as the new contracts gice ESPN the right to rearrange teams throughout their bowl structure to provide more intriguing matchups.

ESPN has ruined college football for the G5 and 3/5 of the P5.
