Our OL and our QB Need Work ASAP
We really need to get this figured out or we aren't gonna win more than 1 or 2 more games.

RE: Our OL and our QB Need Work ASAP
At this point I don't have much hope of Huff figuring anything out. Either we don't have the talent, which is partly his fault for not filling in the gaps we had, or he doesn't have the ability to get the team to play to their talent level, which is still his fault. I still can't figure out how we can dominate a team like ND, which SHOULD, on paper at least, be more talented that BG or Troy and then be so bad against BG and Troy. His job is to get the team ready for all opponents, not just the biggest game on the schedule. I'm quickly losing trust in Huff, and this past weekend didn't help. We really didn't look much better against GW.

Did you re-watch the GW game on ESPN+ ? I watched it again Saturday night. One thing I didn't look for was substitutions. I wonder how many OL players we substituted in and out that game. I'm hoping he was seeing who can do what in a game situation and was substituting the OL all game.

Nah, watching it once was painful enough, I couldn't handle a 2nd viewing.

RE: Our OL and our QB Need Work ASAP
All I know is #52 (Holler) needs run out on a rail. He is flat out garbage. He couldn't block C Team buddy basketball player's jump shot.

Fancher can barely pass and has TERRIBLE mechanics. Everyone and their mother knows he's running the ball 98% of the time.

Columbi reminds me of Thomson or Birdsong - limp noodle arm - and FRAGILE

What would it really hurt to let Pennington play a bit? Get a frosh some quality reps.

This team is so sad.

My only hesitation with playing Pennington or any of the other freshman is as poor as the offensive line is playing they could get killed. I would like for whichever one we think is the best to get some experience and build for the future. But behind this line I'm just not sure that's smart.

Good point, no sense getting them hurt before their career even starts. Keep playing Colombi and Fancher and try to shore up the OL as much as we can. Get rid of the Tackles and play 4 Guards LOL
