Nope, just what I see this year. Lynch can't be a quality QB unless the coaches let him try to be one. Actually, I just said that Lynch's passing stats from last year were OK for a true FR. So, if Lynch has the ability to be a quality QB it is our coaches that are failing.

Pathetic play calling, second and long most of the game, dropped passes, stupid penalties, worst defense in the history of college football… What reason do we have to have an ego????

There has to be some reason why he isn’t playing more, passing when in. Hampton, seems it’s let’s see what you got, fail forward. I never thought I would say this, but unless Lombardi is out for year and this is a test for Hampton, it seems to be something personal in his mindset and logic. There was no reason to leave him in at that point today. Almost seems he’s afraid to see Lynch in, do well, like his success would undermine his decision, some master plan.

I read in the game promo yesterday that they were giving out water bottles to the first 1,000 in the game. Anyone get one? If they’re decent, that’s your pay for attending that debacle.

Sure hope this isn't the case. That sounds like Hammock's ego trumps what's possibly best for the team; hardly a good thing. Plus, since Ham offered Lynch out of HS it's not really contrary to the initial decision.

FWIW as a Toledo fan I though NIU was really limited by injuries. Lots of your playmakers were out and it showed. UT looked lousy offensively early season as we dealt with a bunch of oline injuries. Now that 2 of the 3 hurt starters are back and the other guys have more reps the oline is looking decent. Toledo's defense is very good too, I wouldn't overreact to a beat up team struggling against a healthier, probably more talented team, that is just starting to hit its stride.
