We are. There's such a huge difference in the way this team is funded today from the Michael Heisley ownership era. Heisley probably would've bought the plane the Cleveland Indians used in the movie Major League if it were available.

Remember when Ron Tillery used to say that Pera really wasn't worth anything because everything he owned was Ubiquiti stock? I wonder what ole Tillery is up to these days. He turned into a real bitter s.o.b.

Pera and group paid $377 million for the Griz in 2012 and he bought out two minority owners in 2018. In ten years, the franchise's value is about $1.5 billion for a return of 298%.
